Bastard music as a manifesto, the lyrical as a common denominator, the interlaced interplay as the starting point.
Laughing Bastards stands for the alchemy between the youngest generation from the b(l)ooming Ghent jazz and impro scene, and the experience and hunger for innovation of an old hand in the profession. Together they proclaim their love for the jazz tradition.
